About HR Advantage

Founded in 2005, Human Resource Advantage provides employers within the Midwest region the fundamental tools in meeting their business objective, by partnering with them to assist in the development or enhancement of their Human Resource infrastructure. Our primary role is to assist our clients in identifying their specific needs, and develop an action plan with timelines to facilitate change, in order to increase the success of their organization.

We pride ourselves on total “customization” of products and services offered, specific to the company’s objective, environment and industry.

The main objective of Human Resource Advantage is to deliver “quality hands-on service” with a personable touch to clients, in order to meet their business and profitability objectives. Team Biographies

 

Lynette Weatherford, MA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

Lynette Weatherford, founder and president of Human Resource Advantage, Inc. has been in the field of Human Resources for over 20 years. Her expertise includes connecting the human resource process and practices to business plans through careful design and implementation, in order to meet the bottom-line: organizational profitability.

Lynette earned her Master’s Degree in Human Resources from Ottawa University and is a Missouri State University alumnus. 

In addition to her extensive training, education, and experience, she holds the HR certifications of SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources Certification) and SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional). She is a member of the Springfield Area Human Resources Association, Branson Tri-Lakes Human Resources Association, Springfield & Branson Chambers of Commerce, and the national Society for Human Resource Management.

Human Resource Advantage, Inc. has been featured in the Who’s Who publication of Springfield Business Journal.  

One of the main objectives that Lynette set in founding HR Advantage, Inc. in 2005 was to deliver the highest standard of quality and service to the clients that the company works with.

 

Candida Arvizu, SPHR, SHRM-CP

Candida Arvizu, Human Resources Advisor with Human Resource Advantage, has worked in the human resource and consulting field for over 10 years.  Since graduating with a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Missouri State University in 2002, she has enjoyed helping southwest Missouri organizations strategically manage talent through common sense solutions and initiatives. Her areas of expertise include addressing small business challenges, wage and hour law, FMLA administration, training, leadership, and group processes.    

She holds the HR certifications SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional).

She is involved in several professional organizations, including the Springfield Area Human Resources Association, Branson Tri-Lakes Human Resources Association, Springfield & Branson Chambers of Commerce, and the national Society for Human Resource Management.  She volunteers her time on the Personnel Committee and board of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Southwest Missouri.

Candida helps solve problems people care about in organizations, through tactical solutions as well as strategic HR planning. 

With a uniquely client-centered approach, Candida has a passion for enabling business leaders to more effectively engage and motivate talent.

 

Rhonda Braker, BS, PHR, SHRM-CP

Rhonda Braker, Human Resources Advisor with Human Resource Advantage, has an extensive background in long-term care, and has experience in the production, manufacturing, and telecommunications industries.

She holds the HR certifications PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional).

Rhonda's areas of expertise with HRA include employee relations, recruitment and retention, and training and development.

 

Camille Knowles, PHR, SHRM-CP

Camille Knowles, Human Resources Advisor with Human Resource Advantage, has over 20 years of experience in human resource and insurance fields.  

Having worked in both the private and public sector, she understands the unique challenges and situations both may bring.  Her areas of expertise include addressing business challenges, benefits, labor and union administration, wage and hour law, workers’ compensation, recruitment, FMLA administration, training, leadership, and personnel policies and procedures.    

She holds the HR certifications PHR (Professional in Human Resources) and SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional).

Camille is involved in several professional organizations, including the Springfield Area Human Resources Association, the Springfield Chamber of Commerce, True North Leadership, and the National Society for Human Resource Management. She also volunteers for local community organizations and events such as The United Way, Relay for Life, The Victim Center and The Salvation Army.

She is certified through FEMA 2017 Emergency Disaster Training, held in Baltimore, Maryland. She is honored to have been selected to participate in the Leadership Springfield Class of 33.

Camille has a strong passion to provide exceptional HR Advisor support for her clients; she builds trust and confidence for business leaders to seek her guidance.

 

Grace Childs

Grace Childs, Business Intern with Human Resource Advantage, is currently studying for her Bachelor's Degree in Business at Missouri State University.

Grace's areas of expertise include social media marketing, business development, client relations, and administrative support services.
