Growing Trend of On-Site and Near-Site Clinics
Over the past couple decades, on-site clinics and electronic visits have grown in popularity as employers look for ways to improve health care services available to employees while reducing health care expenses. Larger employers tend to see more success with on-site clinics, while smaller employees may find it hard to keep up with costs and instead utilize near-site clinics. Studies show that almost two-thirds of employers will offer such benefits by 2020. The services offered vary based on the employer’s needs.
