Business Development Manager

HR Advantage is searching for a talented Business Development Manager for a Springfield, MO based, client employer!

As our Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting revenue-generating teams by designing, implementing, and optimizing sales enablement programs and initiatives. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally, facilitating alignment, and utilizing data-driven insights to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth. The Business Development Manager serves as a bridge between sales and stores, manufacturer partners, and internal departments. The Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring that sales representatives have the resources, knowledge, and tools necessary to excel in their roles.

Your Role:
•Lead the development and execution of sales strategies, programs, and initiatives that align with the organization’s sales and revenue objectives.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, and manage manufacturer relationships to create and deliver relevant and effective sales content, collateral, and resources.
•Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of sales initiatives, using data-driven insights to make informed adjustments and improvements.
•Monitor and analyze key sales metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports to senior leadership and stakeholders to demonstrate the impact of sales efforts on revenue performance.
•Act as a subject matter expert on sales tools, technologies, and best practices, such as Excel, Microsoft Teams, S2K, and our internal software.
•Support the onboarding and ramp-up of new sales representatives, providing guidance, resources, and training to accelerate their success.

Who you are:
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with sales teams, leadership, external brands, and cross-functional stakeholders.
•Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
•Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse groups of people.
•Highly organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrated ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment and market landscape.
•Collaborative mindset with the ability to build relationships and influence without direct authority.
•5 years’ experience, bachelor’s in business or related field, and previous management experience preferred.
