Position: Human Resources Manager
Location: Wichita, KS
HR Advantage is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager for a Springfield, MO based client. We are seeking a strategic manager to lead all aspects of our people and culture initiatives. The ideal candidate is a trusted advisor, strong communicator, and passionate leader who can align HR strategies with business goals while fostering a positive, high-performing workplace.
Responsibilities
As the Human Resources Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all HR functions and ensuring compliance, consistency, and care in every part of the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Partner with leadership to design and implement effective HR strategies that support company objectives.
- Manage talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention programs to attract and keep top talent.
- Oversee compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Advise managers and executives on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws and internal policies.
- Drive training and professional development programs to support career growth.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend strategic improvements.
- Lead investigations, employee complaint resolutions, and workplace accommodations.
- Continuously improve HR systems, processes, and tools for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of HR leadership experience (or progressively responsible HR roles).
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven experience in employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and leadership development.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Preferred: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification and/or prior experience in a similar industry, DISC, widget and People Centric’s Communication Styles tools experience, and Paycor
