HR Advantage is seeking an Accounting & HR Manager for an Ozark, MO–based client.
This role oversees accounting, human resources, and office operations—supporting both financial accuracy and a strong employee experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping processes
- Coordinate with CPA to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Oversee sales tax tracking and reporting
- Monitor daily financials including cash handling, deposits, reconciliations, and POS audits
Human Resources & Payroll
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and PTO tracking
- Partner with payroll providers to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Support onboarding and employee documentation
Office Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative functions
- Coordinate scheduling, calendars, and internal communications
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Assist in developing and improving standard operating procedures
- Troubleshoot operational issues and collaborate with leadership as needed
Compliance & Risk Management
- Help ensure compliance with business licenses, insurance policies, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate management of company insurance policies with external providers
- Oversee certifications including forklift and food safety
General Support
- Collaborate with leadership and team members to improve processes
- Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in accounting, HR, or office management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks Online
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- $60,000–$70,000 annually
