About Me

I am a hands-on problem-solving individual with a background in running a well-established business, which included the total startup of a machinery and heavy equipment dealership followed with the operational management, multiple department management and all facets of small business operation for almost ten years. My experience in accounting, bookkeeping includes: • 10+ years in accounts payable including all invoices, account coding, and payments • 10+ years accounts receivables including coding, depositing, billing • Monthly sales tax payments to various states • Payroll payments and reports • Monthly and yearly financial reporting • Year-end closing procedures. Preparing financial reports with assistant from company accountant. • Understand the need to get work done and done on time.

  • Experience, Highlights & Achievements: My work experience in the business and bookkeeping world was earned while my husband and I ran and operated a machinery and heavy equipment dealership for ten years. My responsibilities were in implementing a new business software system that was not only new to our company but new to the dealership/brand. The business system tied our four main departments together and then tied it to the dealership where we were committed to reporting financials every month by 10th day. My passion grew quickly in learning this system, teaching it to our employees and then being able to extract the necessary data to help make strategic business decisions to grow our business. This experience has become my biggest professional achievement and has shown to me how much I thrive on working with numbers and data every day and why I want to continue this with a new team.
